Role
As a Social Media Manager Intern for Blitz, you will be pivotal in managing and significantly growing our public social media presence across key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Your primary mission will be to create captivating content, foster vibrant community interaction, and meticulously analyze performance metrics to continuously refine our social media strategy, ultimately driving unparalleled player engagement beyond the application itself.
Key Responsibilities
• Content Creation: Strategically develop and execute highly creative and engaging social media content, including posts, videos, graphics, and memes, ensuring alignment with Blitz’s distinct brand identity and the broader gaming culture.
• Online Engagement & Community Management: Proactively manage all social media interactions, including responding to comments, messages, and mentions, to cultivate meaningful relationships and strengthen player loyalty and community spirit.
• Social Listening: Diligently monitor player sentiment, emerging trends, and ongoing discussions within the gaming and social media landscape to identify proactive opportunities for engagement, content creation, and platform improvement.
• Data Analysis & Performance Reporting: Track, interpret, and report on key social media performance metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and content reach, to inform and optimize social media strategies for maximum impact.
• Trend Spotting & Innovation: Stay relentlessly updated on the latest social media trends, viral content, and gaming industry insights, ensuring Blitz’s social media presence remains fresh, relevant, and engaging.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely and seamlessly with the Marketing/Growth and LiveOps teams to ensure consistent messaging, synchronize campaigns, and maximize overall campaign impact.
• Paid Social Campaign Support: Provide crucial assistance in the planning and optimization of paid social media campaigns alongside the Growth team, focusing on driving effective player acquisition and retention.
Profile
