Sleep Center Sales Specialist 1 | Living Spaces
The Tone:
This is an on-site, full-time role at Living Spaces, a leading retailer in home furnishings, with a specific focus on the sleep center. This position is vital for meticulously executing the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model, which is the cornerstone for delivering exceptional, memorable experiences that build guest satisfaction and lasting loyalty. By driving repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth, this role directly contributes to surpassing targeted Sales Per Hour (SPH) metrics and achieving key company performance indicators, all while upholding the highest level of guest satisfaction measured by comprehensive guest surveys.

• Pay: $16.50 – $21.45 hourly (plus potential for overtime, business expense reimbursement, and a team bonus based on company goals and KPIs)
• Team: Reports to store leadership and collaborates with store teams, contributing actively to a positive store culture focused on guest delight and collective revenue targets.
• Mission: To embody and meticulously execute the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model, creating exceptional guest experiences, fostering lasting loyalty, and consistently surpassing targeted sales and guest satisfaction metrics within the sleep center.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Experience & Sales: Embody and expertly execute the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model to create exceptional, memorable experiences, drive high sales proficiency, and ensure seamless, efficient check-out/in processes for every guest to foster lasting loyalty and surpass sales metrics.
• Performance & Development: Maintain an unwavering focus on enhancing sales proficiency through continuous training and development, proactively self-assess daily sales results, and collaborate with store leadership to refine expectations and develop monthly strategic plans for personal growth.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure daily operational task lists critical for store readiness are completed accurately and efficiently, maintain meticulous inventory accuracy in strict adherence to company asset protection standards, and proficiently utilize all company-provided tools and systems.
• Visual Presentation: Support and execute comprehensive style guide directives, overseeing all aspects of merchandising, visual presentation, and product labeling within the sleep center to ensure an appealing, effective, and compliant sales environment.
• Team Collaboration: Actively contribute to building a positive store culture that champions guest delight, teamwork, and the achievement of collective revenue targets, demonstrating the ability to work weekends and most holidays in a fast-paced retail setting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of consultative retail sales experience is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential for performing the duties of this role.
• Bonus: Experience with a strong emphasis on mattress sales in a direct customer interactive environment, and previous experience in a high-volume retail setting are highly valued.
