Job Description:
This is a SkillBridge Internship/Fellowship for a Cybersecurity Engineer to work onsite at NASA in Houston, in a temporary role not to exceed 24 weeks. The goal is to help build out the next generation spacecraft integration and test facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractors.
• Interface with NASA Software and Hardware Engineering Leads
• Perform assessment for completeness of design and implementation throughout the full software and hardware development lifecycle
• Support the development of CDR and manufacturing readiness review products and participate in module system reviews
• Develop cybersecurity requirements for spacecraft systems.
• Work with the spacecraft module vendors to establish cybersecurity plans and verify compliance.
• Perform cybersecurity oversight and impact assessments.
• Support cybersecurity incident investigation and resolution.
• Ensure systems comply with scanning of spacecraft systems per government, NASA, and Johnson Space Center specific requirements.
• Ensure findings in the security assessment report are addressed and closed through remediation or risk assessment.
• Coordinate with external organizations to perform cybersecurity remediation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• This is a temporary role not to exceed 24 weeks.
• SkillBridge interns will not be eligible for any compensation during their internship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits.
