Site Services Manager | Hatch

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Hatch, located in Boise, ID. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of onsite services, directly supporting world-class project delivery within the Project Delivery Group. The Site Services Manager ensures that essential site functions are managed effectively, allowing construction projects to proceed without interruption.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, Boise, ID
• Team: Project Delivery Group (PDG), reporting to the Site Management organization
• Mission: Coordinate and manage all onsite services and supporting organizations required for successful project execution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Facilities Management: Manage, coordinate, implement, and maintain facilities, camps, and accommodations for the project site.
• Logistics Oversight: Coordinate and oversee personnel transportation systems, both on and off-site, along with vehicle maintenance.
• Operational Support: Manage IT systems and services, site document control, and general administrative and project support functions.
• Commercial Management: Handle commercial aspects, including managing multiple site service contracts, ensuring contractor safety, and controlling costs and schedules.
• Budget and Risk Management: Oversee the overall site services budget and manage any potential risks that could impact the project.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A technical degree or diploma related to construction and/or service management, at a management career level.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of related field experience, including preparing construction services estimates and budgets at conceptual and detailed levels.
• Skills: Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and leadership skills; excellent business aptitude and negotiation skills; a complete understanding of the construction process, including risk management and mitigation practices; knowledge of common forms of contract, requirements, and legalities applicable to the construction industry.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management or Business Administration; expertise and proven experience managing site services on complex major projects, especially in challenging global locations; working knowledge of various onsite department functions.
