AREA CLEANER | IHA

The Tone:
This is a full-time Area Cleaner position at IHA, operating on a consistent day shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. IHA is an integral part of St Mary’s Health Care System, which proudly stands as a member of Trinity Health, one of the nation’s most expansive Catholic Healthcare Organizations. This role is crucial, as the Area Cleaner directly contributes to maintaining an aseptic and safe environment, which is paramount for the well-being and recovery of patients and residents, the comfort of visitors, and the operational safety of all staff across these diverse facilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Clean Facility Areas: Systematically clean both clinical spaces, such as patient rooms and treatment areas, and common areas, including waiting rooms, hallways, and offices throughout the facility.
• Perform Assigned Duties: Execute all specified duties and responsibilities as directed, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
• Uphold Quality Standards: Consistently ensure that high-quality standards of housekeeping are met and maintained across all cleaned environments.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Actively work to maintain the required levels of cleanliness to support a sterile and hygienic operational environment.
• Contribute to Safety: Play a direct role in providing an aseptic and safe environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff, supporting their health and well-being.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position, categorized as a service associate within the healthcare system.
• Experience: The role requires performing assigned cleaning duties and responsibilities consistently to meet high quality standards in clinical and common facility areas.
• Bonus: A High School Diploma or its equivalent is a preferred qualification for this position.
