Senior Strategic Account Executive, Firefox Enterprise (DACH) | Mozilla

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mozilla, located remotely in Germany. Mozilla, a non-profit-backed technology company, creates Firefox, a privacy-focused web browser shaping the internet for the better. This role is crucial for growing Firefox Enterprise across the DACH region, driving early commercial success and ensuring the internet serves people, not just profit. You will be instrumental in building market presence and securing meaningful commercial wins in a developing market.

• Team: Firefox Enterprise, collaborating closely with the Business Development Lead DACH
• Mission: To build pipeline, create momentum, and secure the first wave of commercial wins for Firefox Enterprise in DACH.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build: Develop new opportunities with large enterprises, regulated organizations, and public-sector-related accounts across the DACH region to establish a robust pipeline.
• Own: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial sourcing and qualification through discovery, evaluation, business case development, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Drive: Convert customer interest into immediate commercial momentum by securing pilots, support agreements, and enterprise platform opportunities.
• Partner: Work closely with the Business Development Lead DACH on market priorities, top opportunities, executive engagement, and overall deal strategy.
• Engage: Interact effectively with senior business stakeholders like CIOs, CISOs, enterprise architects, workplace leaders, procurement teams, and compliance stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level experience in enterprise SaaS, infrastructure, security, or platform sales.
• Experience: A strong track record of building pipeline and closing complex enterprise deals, along with running full-cycle sales motions in developing markets or segments.
• Skills: Strong commercial judgment, comfort with ambiguity, the ability to articulate value beyond feature comparison, and native-level written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• Bonus: Experience selling into financial services, insurance, public sector, utilities, or critical infrastructure; familiarity with enterprise browser, endpoint security, Zero Trust, secure access, or digital workplace categories; experience in new market entry or category creation; or understanding of European procurement dynamics.
