What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Architect: Architect and implement highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor: Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Support: Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Mid-Senior level career.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on building scalable web services and APIs. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, Go, or C#); extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases; solid understanding of distributed systems principles, data structures, and algorithms; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, experience with performance tuning and optimization of large-scale systems, knowledge of security best practices in software development, and experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
