Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex web applications and services, encompassing both front-end and back-end components.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices, design patterns, and appropriate technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define, scope, and deliver high-quality features.
• Architect and optimize database schemas and queries for both relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable APIs and microservices that power our various applications.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring application stability and optimal performance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality software.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and associated technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Expertise in at least one back-end language/framework (e.g., Node.js/Express, Python/Django/Flask, Java/Spring Boot, Go).
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis), including schema design and query optimization.
• Extensive experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team and with cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with GraphQL for API development.
• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects showcasing relevant skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
