What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable full-stack applications using modern technologies and best practices.
• Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end (user interfaces, user experience) and back-end (APIs, services, database interactions).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality features.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and debug production issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable software systems.
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js), expertise in back-end development with languages like Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or C#, solid understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB), experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)), proficiency with Git, along with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, knowledge of testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end) and test-driven development (TDD), experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment, understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems, or contribution to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
