What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and performant AI/ML platform components and services using modern cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and ML-specific workflows for data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and inference at scale.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and other software engineering teams to translate their needs into platform features and capabilities.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for ML models, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and version control.
• Drive best practices in software engineering, including code quality and testing, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team excellence.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems, distributed systems, or platform engineering, and demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python preferred), solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles, and experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Bonus: Experience building and scaling AI/ML platforms or MLOps tools, familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), big data technologies (Spark, Flink), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
