What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software applications and services.
• Collaborate: Partner with product managers and designers to define requirements and create architectural designs.
• Build: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, then conduct thorough code reviews for quality assurance.
• Participate: Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, and release management.
• Mentor & Improve: Mentor junior engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive process improvements, embracing DevOps principles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in software development, focusing on scalable web applications or backend services, with proficiency in modern web frameworks.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, C#, Node.js) and a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and API design (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Skills: Proven experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), performance optimization, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks, or contributions to open-source/personal projects.
