What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and services for the core platform using modern architectural patterns.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code primarily in Java or Python, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Actively participate in architectural discussions, contributing to the technical vision and roadmap of the products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, design, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues while mentoring junior engineers and driving process improvements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with a significant portion in a senior-level role.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, including designing and building scalable microservices and RESTful APIs, and familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in Java (with Spring Boot) or Python (with Django/Flask), strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, relational and NoSQL databases, Git, agile methodologies, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree or Ph.D., experience with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, message queues and event-driven architectures, and demonstrated experience leading technical projects or contributing to open-source.
