What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software features and modules across various application layers.
• Code: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.
• Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, identify potential issues, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, QA, and operations, to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend or full-stack engineering, and extensive experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Skills: Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, C#, Go, or Node.js), solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles, proficiency with Git, and strong understanding of API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Bonus: Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes), experience with message queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or prior experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
