What You’ll Actually Do
• Design & Develop: Lead the architectural design and hands-on development of complex software modules and systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate: Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to translate complex product requirements into clear technical specifications and deliver user-centric features.
• Review & Guide: Conduct thorough code reviews for peers and junior engineers, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high standards of code quality, correctness, and adherence to design patterns.
• Improve & Resolve: Diagnose complex technical issues across various environments and contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Strategize: Participate in architectural discussions and strategic technical decision-making, evaluating new technologies to enhance engineering capabilities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Senior-level expertise in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and distributed systems.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive professional experience in software development, with a track record of designing, building, and delivering high-quality software products. Proven experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and CI/CD practices.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, Node.js) and associated frameworks. Extensive experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with event-driven architectures and stream processing technologies. Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and logging tools. Contributions to open-source projects or a strong public GitHub profile. Familiarity with security best practices in software development. Experience in a leadership or team lead capacity.
