What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems and features across the full stack, ensuring robust and high-performance solutions.
• Drive Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to meticulously define specifications, plan sprints, and consistently deliver high-quality software on schedule.
• Provide Technical Mentorship: Act as a key technical expert and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, actively fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Shape Architecture: Initiate and drive architectural discussions, contributing significantly to the evolution of the technical roadmap while ensuring all solutions meet stringent requirements for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ensure Quality and Stability: Actively participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards, best practices, and system performance goals, and troubleshoot complex production issues by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a strong professional focus on building scalable web applications or distributed systems.
• Experience: Possess 5+ years of professional experience in software development, demonstrating a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and significant experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). This includes familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and a proven ability to lead technical projects from inception to deployment.
• Skills: Exhibit expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, Go, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Demonstrate a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns, coupled with hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). Possess excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and strong communication abilities for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: Prior experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js), familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal technical projects are also highly valued. Domain expertise in specific industries like FinTech, E-commerce, or Healthcare is a plus.
