What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems, ensuring high quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Code: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code primarily in specified languages, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative features.
• Strategize: Participate actively in architectural discussions, technical reviews, and contribute to the technical roadmap by evaluating new technologies and methodologies.
• Mentor: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive professional software development experience with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex software projects, and extensive experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, containerization, and databases.
• Skills: Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, C#), solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design principles, and software design patterns. Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with machine learning, big data processing, real-time streaming, contributions to open-source or personal projects, distributed systems and high-availability architectures, or familiarity with observability tools.
