What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design and development of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture.
• Code: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Mentor: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Optimize: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems, and stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong portfolio of shipped products/features, including extensive experience with cloud platforms.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language, solid understanding of microservices architecture, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, various relational and NoSQL database technologies, and containerization technologies with CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), familiarity with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), contributions to open-source or side projects, experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, and knowledge of security best practices.
