What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of new features and services across the company’s platform, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to define clear technical requirements and detailed specifications for new functionalities.
• Develop: Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code, strictly adhering to established best practices and architectural patterns to ensure high quality.
• Review: Conduct comprehensive code reviews, focusing on code quality, long-term maintainability, system performance, and adherence to coding standards.
• Mentor: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, contributing to their professional development and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot and debug complex issues identified across various development, staging, and production environments, ensuring system stability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on building scalable web applications or distributed systems.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, C#, or Node.js; extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) database technologies and data modeling principles; proven experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ); familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and full-stack development; experience with performance optimization, scalability challenges, and system reliability engineering (SRE) principles; contributions to open-source projects or a strong public GitHub profile.
