Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our core product development team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance software systems. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and contribute significantly to our architectural strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex features and services across our platform.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code primarily in Python and Go.
• Architect scalable and resilient solutions leveraging cloud-native technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our production systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in our development processes, tools, and technologies.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic technical decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C#) with a willingness to work with Python and Go.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
• Experience with distributed systems and real-time data processing.
