• Team: Global Delivery team, working closely with Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, Architects, PPM, PMO and Business Change teams under the Head of Delivery.
• Mission: To ensure the successful delivery of technology and change projects, achieving tangible business outcomes and contributing to Arup’s strategic objectives.
• Tech Stack: MSP (Microsoft Project)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Delivery: Lead and manage the successful delivery of technology and change projects, ensuring they achieve tangible results, value creation, and benefits realization for sponsors and end users.
• Strategic Alignment: Contribute to Arup’s Total Design and Excellence objectives by supporting the delivery of a prioritised portfolio of global projects and programmes, aligning with the firm’s 5-year strategy.
• Governance & Reporting: Implement and maintain robust project governance models, including chairing project boards, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and providing clear, regular status reports.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Build and lead motivated, delivery-focused teams, effectively working with diverse teams across multiple global locations, time zones, and cultural backgrounds.
• Planning & Risk Management: Execute detailed project planning using tools like MSP for Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), manage project risks (RAID), track benefits and outcomes, and oversee dependency management, delivering high-quality management and technical products.

• Background: Senior-level professional with a proven track record of delivering technology and change projects that result in highly satisfied sponsors, end users, and tangible business outcomes.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing the successful delivery of diverse technology and change projects, coupled with exposure to programme management as part of group strategy. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse global teams across various locations, time zones, and cultural backgrounds.
• Skills:
• Comprehensive understanding of benefits management and realization.
• Proficient in establishing and maintaining effective project governance models, including KPI tracking and robust status reporting.
• Expertise in detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) planning using Microsoft Project (MSP).
• Strong capability in RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and dependency management.
• Bonus: Direct involvement in continuous improvement initiatives or engagement with communities of practice.
