Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy, translating business objectives and customer needs into a detailed product roadmap.
- Market & Customer Research: Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive research, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs, market trends, and product opportunities.
- Feature Definition & Prioritization: Write detailed product requirements (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment and successful product delivery.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, monitor product performance, analyze user data, and iterate on features to optimize user experience and business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product updates, strategic decisions, and performance results to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Go-to-Market Support: Work with marketing and sales teams to develop compelling product messaging, sales enablement materials, and launch strategies.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive product management experience, with a significant portion in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated success in managing products through their entire lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development processes and web technologies. Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to use data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate complex problems into actionable product plans.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Advanced Degree: MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- UX/UI Understanding: Solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design thinking.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with specific industry verticals relevant to our B2B platform (e.g., FinTech, Healthcare IT, Supply Chain Management).
- Leadership: Experience mentoring junior product managers or leading product initiatives.
