Senior Procurement Analyst (Remote – Puerto Rico) | Collins Aerospace

The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote role at Collins Aerospace, based out of Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, for an experienced Senior Procurement Analyst. • Mission: Lead strategic procurement processes, develop sourcing strategies, and manage supplier relationships to achieve operational excellence and secure critical materials and services.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead procurement activities for assigned suppliers, encompassing sourcing, competitive bidding, purchase orders, negotiations, and performance management.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with and support quality, cost, delivery, and overall business objectives.
• Analyze supplier pricing, market trends, procurement data, and underlying cost drivers to identify savings opportunities and inform critical sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Planners, Engineering, and Operations, to resolve supply chain challenges such as shortages, supplier issues, and invoice discrepancies.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks, including potential production disruptions, and lead corrective actions to resolve recurring delivery and procurement issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating effectively in both English and Spanish (verbal and written). U.S. citizenship is required to access program/contract information.
• Skills: Proficiency in strategic sourcing, competitive bidding, cost analysis, supplier negotiation, supplier performance management, and data-driven decision making.
• Bonus: Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems, experience within a manufacturing or aerospace environment, knowledge of competitive bidding, supplier development, and supplier performance management, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, or APICS/ISM practices and certifications.
