Senior Manager, FP&A – Lifestyle Entertainment | Electronic Arts

This is a full-time hybrid role at Electronic Arts, with locations in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Redwood City, California, United States of America; and Kirkland, Washington, United States of America. • Pay: $133,500 – $186,400 CAD (British Columbia); $153,700 – $233,600 USD (California); $144,900 – $196,500 USD (Washington)
• Team: Leads the Lifestyle Entertainment Finance team, supporting The Sims franchise, Skate franchise, and Lifestyle Central Tech, reporting to the Director of FP&A.
• Mission: To connect financial planning, business performance, and development strategy for the Lifestyle Entertainment franchises.
• Tech Stack: Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Partnership: Serve as a strategic finance partner to studio, product, commercial, and finance leaders, influencing business decisions across franchise strategy, investment prioritization, resource allocation, and return on investment.
• Business Insights: Translate franchise economics, player behavior, monetization trends, KPIs, cost drivers, live services, and new product investments into clear insights and recommendations that support growth, profitability, and long-term business success.
• Financial Management: Own financial planning and performance management across supported franchises, including full P&L management, forecasting, close analysis, risks and opportunities, scenario analysis, and executive reporting.
• Team Leadership: Lead and coach the Lifestyle FP&A team, setting clear priorities, providing thoughtful guidance, and enabling high-quality decision support and strong business impact.
• Process Improvement: Enhance team productivity and impact through prioritization, simplification, automation, standardization, and thoughtful change management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; manages a team within FP&A.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or a related field, including experience mentoring and coaching a high-performing team.
• Skills: Financial modeling, driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis, business case development, full P&L management, solid foundation of accounting principles and GAAP, Power BI, Tableau, planning tools such as Anaplan.
• Bonus: Gaming or entertainment experience beneficial.
