The Tone:
This is a full-time role at DHL Supply Chain, located in San José, Costa Rica. As a global leader in logistics and supply chain management, DHL Group is establishing a world-class Accounting hub in San José, marking an exciting growth journey for the company. This Senior HR Business Partner position is pivotal, serving as a strategic advisor to business leaders within this new hub. The role is critical for aligning human resources strategies with key organizational goals, ultimately driving business performance, enhancing employee engagement, fostering talent development, and ensuring overall organizational effectiveness.

• Mission: Align human resources strategies with organizational goals to drive business performance, employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop People Framework: Develop and implement a structured people framework that effectively supports diverse regions and local legislative requirements, driving effective career development, robust performance management, and comprehensive succession planning to build organizational capability and sustain business growth within the HUB.
• Advise Senior Leadership: Translate overarching business priorities into integrated talent, organizational, and cultural strategies, actively advising and challenging senior leadership to ensure strategic human resources decisions are made to achieve specific business goals.
• Lead Talent Processes: Lead end-to-end talent processes for the HUB, including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development programs, to build strong leadership pipelines and cultivate critical capabilities required for both current and future business needs.
• Manage Workforce Readiness: Ensure workforce readiness by strategically aligning headcount, necessary capabilities, and staffing strategies with dynamic operational needs, particularly important in high-volume and fast-paced environments within the new Accounting hub.
• Lead Organizational Change: Lead and facilitate significant organizational change initiatives across the HUB, including growth strategies, new business implementations, and major transformations, ensuring successful adoption, long-term sustainability, and minimal disruption to operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders and complex business environments. Proven experience managing HR practices across multiple countries or regions. Demonstrated success in driving talent management, performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives in a multinational organization. Experience in HR project and change management.
• Skills: Strategic HR Partnership; Talent, Performance & Succession Management; Employee Relations & Compliance; Change Leadership & Stakeholder Management; Excellent influencing and communication skills; English (B2+) and Spanish (C2+) proficiency.
• Bonus: Master’s degree; Portuguese proficiency.
