Job Description: Senior Graphic Designer
This role leads the design and development of a wide range of marketing materials for OEG’s diverse brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling and effective designs across multiple platforms, ensuring brand consistency and contributing to the achievement of marketing goals. The position demands a high level of proficiency in graphic design, project management, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Design & Development: Oversee the creation of digital and print advertising, websites, emails, logos, collateral, presentations, and other marketing materials reflecting OEG’s brand identity. This includes ensuring adherence to brand standards and continuously optimizing creative and messaging for business performance.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with writers, designers, and other marketing team members to produce high-quality brand marketing experiences. Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, sponsors, and vendors to address design and creative challenges across various platforms.
• Creative Strategy & Innovation: Identify creative gaps and propose innovative solutions to enhance marketing initiatives. Partner with the Creative Director to conceptualize branding and campaigns that drive brand growth. Leverage audience insights to create designs resonating with both B2C and B2B segments.
• Asset Creation: Produce effective ads, digital designs, video assets, logos, and collateral, staying current with design trends and best practices. Prioritize attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality across all outputs.
• Project Management & Delivery: Develop and execute a weekly marketing schedule, delivering a variety of creative assets on time and within budget. Manage freelance designers and vendors, reviewing designs, securing bids, and overseeing production.
• Brand Management: Develop and maintain intercompany and marketing partnership communication platforms. Craft design templates, update brand guidelines, and manage the asset library to ensure easy access to up-to-date brand assets.
• Communication & Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors, ensuring favorable pricing and efficient workflow management.
• Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Education: Degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of proven graphic design experience in an agency, in-house team, or client-side role, encompassing pre-press, web optimization, video/photography, and file maintenance.
• Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing best-in-class design across various platforms and marketing channels.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, iWorks, Figma, Canva, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Workfront, WordPress, HTML, Flash, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects is a plus.
• Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication, creativity, versatility, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and collaboratively, project management skills, vendor management skills, and a passion for design.
The position is based onsite in Nashville, TN.
