What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and Deploy: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications and microservices.
• Collaborate: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and elegant solutions by collaborating with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers.
• Develop Code: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Ensure Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
• Improve Systems: Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, indicative of a senior-level software engineer.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, including demonstrated ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Skills: Front-end development with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3; back-end development using Node.js, Python, Java, or Go frameworks; database management for relational and NoSQL systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis; cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; and proficiency with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with agile development methodologies, contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio, experience with performance optimization and scalability challenges, and knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.
