What You’ll Actually Do
• Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using modern front-end frameworks and back-end technologies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Leadership: Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team.
• Data Management: Implement and maintain database schemas and optimize query performance.
• Architecture: Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in at least one modern front-end JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and expertise in at least one back-end programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go, Ruby). Solid understanding of database design (SQL, NoSQL), experience with API design (RESTful, GraphQL), proficiency with Git, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), familiarity with microservices architecture, experience with test-driven development (TDD), contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects, and experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small teams.
