What You’ll Actually Do
• Feature Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and enhancements for the core platform using modern web technologies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality software.
• Backend Engineering: Develop and maintain robust APIs, backend services, and database schemas, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Frontend Engineering: Craft intuitive, responsive, and performant user interfaces with a focus on exceptional user experience.
• Technical Leadership: Contribute to architectural discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level developers to promote continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong foundational knowledge in software development principles.
• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development, specifically with modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and strong back-end development using languages/frameworks such as Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; in-depth knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis); experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL; solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms; proficiency with Git; and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Bonus: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, or knowledge of various testing frameworks.
