The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design & Deliver Solutions: Design and deliver comprehensive Logistics & Distribution solutions across distribution network optimization, warehouse management, warehouse automation, transport management, order management, and decision intelligence for national and international clients.
• Strategy & Implementation: Develop and deploy tailored strategies for warehouse optimisation and automation, guiding clients through changes of warehouse systems, layouts, processes, or deployment of automation, and evaluating ROI to select vendors and lead new technology implementation.
• Requirements Translation: Define and translate complex business requirements into detailed processes, system designs, and solutions (e.g., WMS, TMS, order management, decision intelligence, network design tools) to effectively meet client needs.
• Network Optimization & Advisory: Conduct assessments of client supply chain networks, identify alternative configurations or optimizations to reduce costs and/or enhance resilience, and guide clients towards future solutions using workshops and design sessions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate collaboration, manage stakeholders effectively, and present findings clearly to senior executives, translating operational challenges into strategic recommendations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree (WO); strong functional knowledge of Logistics & Distribution, including warehousing operations, order fulfilment, inventory management, and network design; good awareness of solution architecture principles.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience with demonstrable experience in one or more Logistics & Distribution domains (for example warehouse management, warehouse automation, order management, decision intelligence, network design); proven experience delivering workstreams within complex logistics projects.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire clients during workshops and build strong, collaborative partnerships; an excellent command of English.
• Bonus: Experience in the defence industry or hands-on experience with warehouse automation technologies is a strong plus; a distinct advantage if you have an excellent command of Dutch.
