The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end architectural design and implementation of complex cloud-native solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives, technical requirements, and industry best practices for scalability, security, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Serve as a principal technical consultant and trusted advisor, engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their strategic needs, gather detailed requirements, and present compelling architectural blueprints and strategies.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge cloud patterns and practices, including serverless architectures, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), microservices, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates), and advanced CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct comprehensive technical assessments, analyze existing client infrastructures, and recommend strategic improvements for cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, data flow diagrams, and implementation guides.
• Provide expert technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to development, DevOps, and operations teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and services, actively evaluating their potential application and impact on current and future solutions.
• Contribute significantly to pre-sales activities, including technical proposals, client presentations, demonstrations, and detailed effort estimations.
• Champion security best practices throughout the entire solution lifecycle, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and corporate governance policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing expert-level support during critical phases of project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in software development, DevOps, systems engineering, or solution architecture roles.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in cloud architecture, solution design, and implementation on a minimum of two major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven track record of successfully designing and delivering complex, large-scale, enterprise-grade cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Deep and comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles, services, and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, FaaS).
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and methodologies (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
  • Strong proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., EKS, AKS, GKE).
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and data management strategies in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js, C#) for scripting, automation, and application development.
  • Experience with microservices architectures, API design, and event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, MongoDB).
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
