• Mission: The Senior Billing Specialist strengthens financial controls, coordinates escalated billing issues, and improves processes to ensure accurate revenue readiness and accounts receivable support for complex operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Billing Operations: Manage complex, high-value, and non-standard billing arrangements for diverse services and locations.
• Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary escalation point for billing discrepancies, system issues, and control exceptions, leading cross-functional resolution efforts.
• Month-End Close: Coordinate billing priorities during close cycles, review accruals, revenue support, and provide analysis for financial reporting.
• Process Improvement: Own and standardize billing SOPs, work instructions, and controls, coordinating system testing and tracking improvement outcomes.
• Team Development: Train and mentor Billing Specialists, conducting quality reviews and facilitating knowledge sharing to build team capability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in billing, accounts receivable, revenue operations, or financial operations.
• Experience: Five or more years of progressive experience managing complex customer accounts, non-standard billing arrangements, and revenue-impacting issues, including leading process improvement or system implementation.
• Skills: Advanced billing and accounts receivable expertise, contract interpretation and complex rate validation, revenue and accrual reconciliation, root-cause analysis, and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Bonus: Experience in a high-volume, multi-line-of-business, event, catering, audiovisual, hospitality, or service environment.
