Senior Analyst, Data & Analytics | Zendesk

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Zendesk, located in Mexico City or Mexico State. Zendesk is a leader in customer service software, currently working towards multi-billion dollar revenue as an AI-first company. This team pushes the boundaries to ensure the best customer experiences are built with Zendesk, leading decision support and insights for company-wide pivotal initiatives. The role is critical for driving BI projects and delivering top-line key metric reporting and forecasting to leadership.

• Location: Remote – Mexico City, Mexico

• Team: Strategic Finance & Analytics team, partnering with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Enterprise Data and Operations teams, reporting to leadership including the CFO and C-Staff.
• Mission: To provide decision support and insights for company-wide pivotal initiatives, drive business intelligence projects, and deliver key metric reporting and forecasting.
• Tech Stack: SQL, Snowflake, Business Intelligence tools, AI

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Regularly report findings and key metrics to leadership, including C-Staff, to help guide decision-making.
• Analysis & Insights: Perform analysis, build decks and dashboards to generate insights using technical skills and business acumen.
• Data Querying: Develop SQL queries and perform ad hoc data analyses to understand trends and underlying drivers.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gain alignment on metrics definitions and analyses.
• Automation: Use AI to automate processes to help scale the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 4-7 years of prior experience in an analytics, business intelligence, or strategy consulting role.
• Skills: Excellent SQL skills, experience with Business Intelligence tools, experience with using AI and building AI workflows, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Snowflake, a Master’s degree, previous SaaS experience, experience building financial models and developing automated reports and dashboards.
