Senior Analyst, Distribution Finance (3PL Operations) | Levi Strauss & Co.

• Mission: Deliver financial insights and analysis to optimize costs, improve service performance, and ensure governance within the third-party logistics network.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support financial planning: Assist with month-end close, forecasting, annual operating plans, and long-range planning for 3PL distribution operations.
• Analyze costs and contracts: Review and analyze 3PL operating expenses, contractual costs, and service-related charges, validating billings for compliance.
• Develop cost forecasts: Create forecasts for volume-driven costs using shipment volume, inventory levels, productivity, and labor assumptions.
• Prepare financial reporting: Generate financial and operational reports, highlighting trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for stakeholders.
• Monitor controls and compliance: Oversee controls related to inventory management, shrink, cycle counts, revenue recognition, 3PL invoicing, and shortage claims.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related field, for a senior-level finance position.
• Experience: 5+ years in FP&A, accounting, finance, or operational finance, with experience supporting supply chain, distribution, logistics, or operational business functions.
• Skills: Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and month-end close processes; experience analyzing operational and volume-driven cost drivers; ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights across functions and levels.
• Bonus: CPA, MBA, or related professional certification.
