M&A Sr Analyst | The Freeman Company (TFC) Brands

The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at The Freeman Company, based out of Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, TX. The Freeman Company is a global leader in events, working to redefine live experiences for a new era. This position is central to strategic decision-making, offering high visibility and impact by working directly with senior leadership on M&A, investment evaluation, and inorganic growth initiatives.

• Team: Corporate Development team, working closely with the Vice President of Corporate Development.
• Mission: Own key analytical workstreams end-to-end, from early-stage target screening through financial modeling and Investment Committee preparation.
• Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, FactSet

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analytical Support: Provide core analytical support that underpins pipeline decisions, diligence priorities, and investment recommendations.
• Deal Sourcing: Support deal sourcing efforts through market research, target mapping, and preparation of outreach and diligence materials.
• Financial Modeling: Build sophisticated financial models, performing valuation and scenario analyses, and creating synergy cases.
• Presentations: Prepare case study and investment theses presentation materials for Investment Committee and leadership.
• Due Diligence: Coordinate and support financial due diligence workstreams, synthesizing findings and identifying key risks and opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 4–6 years experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a corporate finance role; demonstrated track record in M&A analysis, financial modeling, and transaction execution.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation (Excel), presentation development (PowerPoint), exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: MBA or CFA designation; experience with financial data platforms such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or FactSet.
