Senior Accountant | Atlantic Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Atlantic Group, located in Easton, PA. The company is an industry-leading manufacturer, operating as an independent business generating approximately $300M in annual revenue, supported by a global manufacturing parent company. This Senior Accountant position is key to supporting a growing finance organization, contributing to significant process improvements, and playing an active role in an ERP transformation. The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Primarily onsite (4 days/week) with flexible scheduling
• Location: Hybrid, Easton, PA

• Team: Part of the finance team, working directly with senior finance leadership
• Mission: Support the finance organization through financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement during a period of significant company growth and system implementation.
• Tech Stack: New ERP system (in implementation), Business intelligence tools (experience preferred)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare journal entries, complete reconciliations, and produce accurate financial reporting.
• Performance Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, including analyzing budget-to-actual variances and operating results.
• Compliance & Audit: Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations.
• Strategic Initiatives: Assist with ad hoc projects, strategic finance initiatives, and actively participate in the company’s ERP transformation.
• Process Improvement: Partner with operations and finance leadership to identify and implement improvements in processes and reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; this is a senior-level accounting professional role.
• Experience: Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred; a combination of public accounting and corporate accounting experience is ideal.
• Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close procedures; excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Bonus: Experience with ERP implementations, business intelligence tools, or process improvement initiatives is a plus.
