BTI Security is seeking dedicated and qualified Security Professionals. This full-time role is essential for maintaining safety and security across various premises by performing critical functions such as vigilant monitoring, effective access control, and rapid emergency response. The Security Professional plays a vital role in safeguarding employees, visitors, and assets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of exterior and community areas to ensure safety and security.
• Access Control: Manage and monitor access points for employees and visitors at entrances and exits.
• Surveillance: Observe surveillance cameras for any disruptions, suspicious behavior, or unlawful activities.
• Reporting: Generate detailed and accurate reports on daily activities and any incidents that occur.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and effectively utilize security equipment such as magnetometers and X-ray machines, and communication devices like two-way radios.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Must be at least 21 years of age, a United States citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident with an honorable discharge from any component of the US Armed Forces, and possess a valid Social Security Card.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of armed security experience, OR one (1) year of full-duty law enforcement experience within a US municipality, state, or federal department, OR two (2) years as a member of any US Armed Forces with an honorable discharge.
• Skills: Possess strong relevant knowledge of the security industry. Fluently speak, read, and comprehend English, and be able to compose clear written reports in English. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a customer service-driven mindset and the ability to effectively present information to diverse internal and external customers. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of firearms (pistol), intermediate weapons (OC spray and expandable baton), First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• Bonus: Ability to maintain all required credentials including CPR/First Aid, Basic Training (72/64 hours), Initial Weapon Training, O.C. aerosol spray, Handcuffing Tactics and Instruction, MEB Expandable Baton, DHS Suitability, and National Weapons Detection Training Program.
