Management Trainee | Virtuos

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Virtuos, located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. Virtuos is one of the largest independent video game development companies, specializing in full-cycle game development and art production for more than 1,500 console, PC, and mobile games. As a Management Trainee, you will contribute as a creator, working to make games better and more immersive by pushing the boundaries of possibility and solving complex business challenges. You will play a vital part in improving operational efficiency, quality, and innovation across global teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Improve Operational Processes: Examine departmental workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, quality, and innovation.
• Facilitate Project Delivery: Assist in tracking project milestones, coordinating tasks, and updating documentation to ensure timely project completion.
• Address Business Challenges: Apply analytical and creative thinking to solve business challenges within cross-functional teams from different disciplines.
• Develop Client and Internal Relationships: Participate in stakeholder meetings to build skills in negotiation, presentation, and relationship management.
• Propose Data-Driven Solutions: Address real-world challenges in production or operations by proposing innovative, data-driven solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Engineering from a leading international university.
• Experience: This is an early career role. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to learn new skills quickly, possess high levels of self-motivation, and have a mature personality capable of managing relationships at a senior level while appreciating multicultural working environments.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and analytical abilities to solve complex issues within tight deadlines, strong written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on synthesizing information, and excellent mathematical and computational ability.
• Bonus: A passionate interest in games and digital culture, coupled with an open and international mindset.
