Job Description

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Moncks Corner, SC. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring assigned areas and conducting routine foot patrols to maintain visibility and help reduce security-related incidents.
  • Supporting access control by checking credentials, directing visitors and drivers, and providing professional customer service.
  • Communicating clearly with associates and leadership.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

  • Monday: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Thursday: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Friday: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients by implementing security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when necessary, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Perform regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting and reporting any unusual conditions to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor and control access for employees, visitors, and contractors, which includes verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining required access logs.
  • Assist shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle and trailer movement at gates and dock areas, reporting discrepancies or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond calmly and with problem-solving skills to incidents and critical situations, completing all necessary reports and providing updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Comfort using a computer or tablet.
  • Preferred: Customer service experience.
  • Preferred: Access control and/or badge experience.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
