The Tone:

The Scan Coordinator is crucial for maintaining accurate pricing across all products, ensuring customer trust and smooth store operations. This position requires a strong attention to detail and an ability to work quickly and accurately to uphold pricing integrity.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $19.50–$29.15 hourly
• Mission: Owns the responsibility for maintaining overall price integrity throughout the store.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Price Management: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs, tags, and promotional materials.
• Accuracy Verification: Verify the accuracy of weekly ad price changes, promotional prices, and pricing signage in all departments.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to all company policies and governmental regulations related to pricing.
• Program Management: Analyze total scanning programs and properly maintain necessary reports and schedules.
• System Operation: Use a computer to activate new pricing, read price tags, create signs, and staple items.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Proven analytical and organizational skills for understanding and maintaining total scanning programs, and a foundational understanding of billing and accounting principles.
• Skills: Excellent mathematical proficiency, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and an outgoing, friendly demeanor for positive interactions with customers, employees, and vendors.
