Operations Leadership Development Program | Core Vista Strategies

The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership development program offered by Core Vista Strategies, an HR consultancy firm that uses an Artificial Intelligence System to match candidates with potential roles. This program is designed to cultivate future leaders by immersing participants in hands-on experiences across operations, manufacturing, and product development. It provides unique growth opportunities, leadership exposure, and real operational challenges within various business units to empower and equip participants for a career in operations management.

The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Type: Full-time
• Location: Relocation required; domestic and international travel expected.

• Mission: Implement and improve manufacturing processes required to meet the needs of the operation for both existing and new products.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and implement process improvements, including working with teams to address quality or lean improvement opportunities.
• Lead teams to complete productivity, lean, quality, and product startup projects within operational settings.
• Develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences by participating in and leading projects that drive high performance in the company’s Operations.
• Rotate through technical, supervisory, and project-driven positions in Operations during each 12-month assignment at a specific location.
• Present results of projects and initiatives to the company North America senior leadership team, maintaining ongoing contact with the program’s executive sponsor.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with concentrations in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or similar technical degrees are preferred.
• Experience: Proven work ethic through internship, prior research, or co-op experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Skills: Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional computer skills, and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Bonus: Ideally, prior experience working with an organization that utilizes continuous improvement processes, knowledge of business concepts and strategy, and a strong commitment to a career in operations management.
