SAP iXp Intern – Talent Discovery | SAP
The Tone:
This is an internship at SAP, located in Newtown Square, PA, requiring 3 days onsite per week. SAP is a global cloud company with over 400,000 customers, helping to run better by providing end-to-end business application software and related services across more than 20 industries and 80% of global commerce. This role matters by offering university students a foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact, specifically within the Talent Discovery team, by improving recruiting workflows and decision-making with data and AI.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full time 40 hrs./week
• Location: Hybrid, Newtown Square, PA
• Team: Talent Discovery within Human Resources, partnering with the Director of North America Talent Discovery and cross-functional teams.
• Mission: Improve recruiting operations and decision-making by providing data-informed insights and supporting AI adoption within the Talent Discovery team.
• Tech Stack: AI-enabled tools
What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Generate clear recruiting operations reports, track special projects, and create presentation materials for weekly updates on open/filled requisitions.
• Insights: Provide data-informed insights to improve visibility into pipeline health, candidate flow, and recruiting outcomes.
• AI Adoption: Support the adoption of AI through communications, enablement materials like job aids and training notes, and by tracking adoption metrics and feedback loops.
• Project Management: Manage projects with defined milestones, organized tracking, and ensure timely stakeholder communication, especially in partnership with leadership.
• Recruiting Support: Provide end-to-end recruiting execution support, including candidate identification, attraction, screening, selection, and offer finalization processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a master’s degree in HR, Psychology, or a related field, or a senior in a bachelor’s program. Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate (within 6 months of start date) from a bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Experience: Exposure to recruiting or a corporate work environment.
• Skills: Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized. Strong attention to detail, reporting discipline, and comfort working with data & analytics. Project management mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Any prior exposure to recruiting or a corporate work environment is highly preferred.
