The Tone:
This is an entry-level, part-time or full-time role at Company, dedicated to supporting the DIY business. The Salesperson is crucial for achieving sales and service objectives by providing an excellent customer experience and maintaining efficient store operations. This position requires a foundational understanding of automotive parts and systems, alongside strong customer interaction skills, to ensure DIY customers receive expert assistance.

• Tech Stack: Store systems, delivery board system, inventory systems, POS, Parts lookup systems, testing and diagnostic equipment.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Sales Performance: Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to the store’s overall sales objectives.
• DIY Services: Provide DIY services, including battery installation, testing, and wiper installations for customers.
• Inventory Management: Responsible for inventory processes, including truck put-away, shoot-outs, cycle counts, and back stock management.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain store product and operational standards, including cleanliness of floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level sales position requiring a good understanding of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and fundamental part knowledge.
• Experience: 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, demonstrating the ability to provide superior customer experiences.
• Skills:
• Friendly and effective communication skills to build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management.
• Proficiency in operating inventory systems, POS, and Parts lookup systems.
• Strong parts and automotive system knowledge.
• Ability to locate, stock, and source parts efficiently from various channels.
• Basic driving and navigation ability for safe part deliveries.
• Bonus: Fleet safety certification is preferred; ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
