The Tone:
This is a flexible part-time or full-time role. As an Entry-Level Salesperson, you will be a vital part of our team, actively supporting the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) business. This position is crucial for achieving our sales and service objectives, providing an engaging experience for customers.

• Tech Stack: Store systems, delivery board system, inventory systems, Point of Sale (POS), parts lookup systems, testing and diagnostic equipment

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Provide an excellent and engaging selling experience for DIY customers during both in-store visits and phone inquiries.
• Sales Contribution: Actively work towards achieving personal sales goals and contribute to the store’s overall sales objectives.
• DIY Services: Offer essential DIY services directly to customers, including battery installation, testing, and wiper blade installations.
• Store Presentation: Maintain the highest standards for store product presentation and operational excellence.
• Inventory Management: Diligently execute all inventory processes, which include truck put-away, shoot-outs, cycle counts, and efficient management of back stock.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a solid understanding of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and fundamental part identification skills.
• Experience: 2-3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in a diverse retail environment, with a proven track record of providing superior customer experiences.
• Skills: Proficiency in operating inventory, Point of Sale (POS), and parts lookup systems; foundational knowledge of parts and automotive systems; expertise in utilizing testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service tasks; strong safety knowledge and practical application of safety skills.
• Bonus: Fleet Safety Certification is preferred, and Spanish proficiency is a significant advantage for communication.
