• Mission: Identify and acquire new small business clients for payroll, HR, and benefits solutions, and expand services for existing accounts.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Acquire Clients: Identify and sign new clients with 1-49 employees for payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits solutions within a defined geographic territory.
• Drive Growth: Work independently and collaboratively to close sales, win business, and achieve sales goals within your assigned area.
• Cultivate Relationships: Implement a sales strategy targeting decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
• Expand Services: Strategically cultivate additional business by selling cloud-based human resources solutions within existing client accounts.
• Act as Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and company ambassador to clients, internal partners, and your overall professional network, maintaining ethical standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, no college degree required; focus on job-specific skills.
• Experience: One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or other relevant industries, OR military experience.
• Skills: Positive and persistent style with the ability to cold call without fear of rejection; effective time management; clear presentation of ideas in writing, in-person, and over the phone; problem-solving and solution-seeking in fast-paced environments; continuous learning and questioning to improve processes.
• Bonus: Prior quota-carrying experience; ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
