About the Job: Sales Operations Intern
CivicScience offers internships designed to introduce students to the world of market intelligence. The Sales Operations Intern position is part of the Intelligence team for the 2025-26 program, seeking upper-level undergraduate or graduate students.
Internship Program Details:
• Duration: 10-12 weeks.
• Hours: Up to 20 hours per week, with flexibility based on department/role and student needs.
• Educational Opportunities: Interns will participate in sessions covering branding & communications, sales & marketing, research, data analysis, customer relationship management (CRM), and technology.
• Project Deliverables: Projects may include prospect research, outreach messaging, client engagement, nurturing business relationships, and sales presentations (group and/or individual), designed to meet academic standards for college-level credit(s).
• Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
• Location: This is a remote (work from home) role for US-based students. Interns will work directly with CivicScience sales and marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Operations Intern:
• Research & Collaboration: Research, identify, and collaborate on potential business partnerships.
• Strategy Development: Support the development of outreach strategies to engage prospective partners.
• Content Creation: Contribute to the creation of pitch materials, proposals, and presentations.
• Performance Tracking: Track and report on partnership performance metrics and outcomes.
• Team Contribution: Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on sales operations initiatives.
Qualifications/Desired Skills/Experience:
• Academic Status: Upper-level undergraduate or graduate-level student status.
• Field of Study: Pursuing a degree in business, commerce, marketing, communications, or related fields.
• Credit Eligibility: Must be eligible to receive college credits for this unpaid internship.
• Mindset: Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and have a keen interest in the world of startups.
• Sales & Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and tactics.
• Communication Skills: Ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively, with excellent written communication skills, including impeccable grammar.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with a variety of technology platforms.
