Job Description: Sales Operations & Enablement Intern
This is an internship position for a Sales Operations & Enablement Intern, designed for a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to support a growing sales team.
Core Focus:
The intern will gain practical, hands-on experience at the intersection of sales, data, and strategy. This involves learning how to optimize sales processes, uncover key performance insights, and equip sales teams with the necessary tools for success. The role offers a direct view into the operations of a modern SaaS sales organization, making it ideal for those aspiring to careers in Revenue Operations, Sales Analytics, or Sales Enablement. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time Sales Analyst role upon completion of the program.
Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
• Sales Data & Analytics:
• Deep dive into sales performance metrics to identify crucial patterns, trends, and opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing executive dashboards within Salesforce and Excel, focusing on tracking pipeline health and sales activity.
• CRM & Process Optimization:
• Ensure the cleanliness, accuracy, and actionability of Salesforce data to facilitate better reporting and forecasting.
• Provide support for lead routing and territory management processes, specifically utilizing LeanData.
• Work to streamline reporting procedures and automate manual tasks to boost team efficiency.
• Sales Enablement & Tools Management:
• Develop and organize sales enablement resources using Spekit to accelerate sales representatives’ learning and selling capabilities.
• Optimize various sales tools such as Outreach and Qualified to improve overall productivity and engagement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to support ongoing initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing the sales team’s operations and growth strategies.
Location and Hours:
• This is a remote position.
• The work commitment is 10-20 hours per week.
Qualifications (What You’ll Bring):
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including skills like PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work Ethic: A self-starter mindset combined with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Availability: Ability to commit 10-20 hours per week for remote work.
Bonus Points For:
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Experience with specific sales operations tools such as Outreach, LeanData, Qualified, or Spekit.
• Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Previous experience in sales operations or enablement roles.
Compensation:
• The pay range for this internship is $16 – $18 per hour for actual hours worked.
• The specific pay rate within this range will depend on the candidate’s demonstration of required attributes and competencies.
