Marketing & Sales (Growth) Intern | Starbeam
The Tone:
This is an internship role at Starbeam, located remotely with required in-person meetings with your campus team. Starbeam is an AI-powered wellness startup in stealth mode, preparing society for the disruptive social upheavals that AI will soon unleash. This role is crucial for launching a free agentic AI consumer app on US college campuses and later supporting the rollout of enterprise AI services to businesses. Interns will contribute directly to the company’s foundational growth and establish its presence in a critical market.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Craft and adapt sales presentations and scripts using AI tools.
• Market Research: Identify key influencers and leaders through web research and social media analysis.
• Data Management: Populate and maintain CRM databases and prospect profiles.
• Relationship Building: Execute warm and cold outreach strategies to connect with student organizations, club leaders, and social media influencers.
• Brand Representation: Produce short-form video, social media posts, and written features for school newspapers or campus media to represent Starbeam.
• SEO & PR: Write articles and online content about Starbeam to enhance its visibility in AI tool searches.
• Professional Development: Complete free online courses to achieve certifications in AI tools and HubSpot sales and marketing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A current college student majoring in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. Exemptions may apply for high school students demonstrating extraordinary interest.
• Experience: Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week for at least two months.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills without relying on AI for core content generation; strong interpersonal skills with a desire to build professional networks.
• Interest: A genuine interest in sales and marketing as a potential career path.
