Key Responsibilities And Duties

As a Sales Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute significantly to our sales operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative & Team Support: Provide essential administrative support to sales professionals, contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the sales team.
  • Sales Skill Development: Actively learn and apply advanced sales techniques and methodologies from experienced professionals, integrating best practices into your evolving sales approach.
  • Product & Company Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Granite’s diverse portfolio of voice and data telecommunication products and services, becoming a knowledgeable ambassador for our solutions. Gain comprehensive insight into Granite’s business model, values, and market position.
  • Report Generation & Editing: Prepare and refine detailed written reports, presentations, and proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professional presentation for internal team use and client-facing materials.
  • Client Prospecting: Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through targeted cold calling and other lead generation strategies, building a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • CRM Mastery: Master the use of Salesforce CRM for managing client interactions, tracking sales activities, forecasting, and reporting, becoming proficient in a critical sales technology tool.
  • Independent Sales Initiatives: Take ownership of independent sales tasks and strategies, developing and executing approaches to attract new clients and achieve sales targets.
  • Competitive Skill Building: Actively participate in dynamic sales role-play competitions to hone negotiation, presentation, and objection-handling skills in a competitive and supportive learning environment.
