Sales Enablement Intern | American Food & Vending
The Tone:
This is an internship at American Food & Vending, located in Liverpool, NY. American Food & Vending is a leading privately held dining and refreshment service provider, offering comprehensive vending, micro markets, coffee, pantry, and water filtration solutions nationwide for diverse industries. This role is crucial for supporting the sales team by maintaining essential customer data and driving operational excellence within a hospitality organization. You will gain practical experience in CRM management, contract administration, and sales reporting, directly contributing to the sales organization’s efficiency.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, Liverpool, NY
• Pay: $19–$20 hourly
• Team: Reports to Director of Sales within the Sales team
• Mission: To support the sales team by maintaining critical customer data and driving operational efficiency for the sales organization.
• Tech Stack: CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
What You’ll Actually Do
• CRM Data Management: Enter and update customer contract information and sales records within the CRM.
• Data Quality Assurance: Perform routine audits to verify the completeness and accuracy of required CRM fields.
• Sales Documentation: Upload and organize contracts and all supporting sales documentation.
• Contract Tracking: Monitor upcoming contract renewals, their timelines, and the status of pending contract signatures.
• Performance Reporting: Assist with generating and maintaining essential sales reports.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience required; ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bonus: Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
