About The Role

As a `Sales Development Intern`, you will play a `critical role in becoming the engine behind the Confluent Sales Team`. You will work closely with our `SDR Global Leadership team` on projects designed to `improve internal processes and increase pipeline generation`.

The SDR organization at Confluent is pivotal, as it `fuels pipeline generation for the global Sales organization` and is a key pathway for `developing strong, future Account Executive talent`. As a member of this team, you will `learn the sales fundamentals` and gain deep insight into `how a Sales Development organization operates effectively`.

What You Will Do

Our internship program is underpinned by a robust development framework designed to broaden and deepen your knowledge. As a member of the team, you will:

  • `Hone your technical toolkit and soft skills`.

  • `Develop foundational business, personal, and technical skills` to use throughout your career.
  • Align closely with SDR teams to `master SDR fundamentals`, including `prospecting skills and product knowledge`.
  • Work with `SDR Operations & Programs leadership on special projects` driving growth for the SDR organization.
  • `Update and add data to our CRM` to help SDRs prospect more effectively.

What You Will Bring

  • `Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree`, or equivalent.
  • `Excellent written and verbal communication skills`.
  • `Enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong desire to learn about sales`.
